The parameters are the same in the case of remote playback of archives from hard drive of the video server. In each video format the user can set compression level which influences image quality and bandwidth requirements. Additionally, in MPEG-4 format it is possible to choose CBR or VBR option and change advanced Group of Picture (GOP) settings. The MPEG-4 streaming uses RTSP protocol.

If the monitor is equipped with audio, its input can be connected to the line output of the video server (AUDIO OUT). At any moment sound can be transmitted only from one channel.
The parameters are the same in the case of remote playback of archives from hard drive of the video server. The MAIN monitor output provides full screen image from each camera or screen split into four subimages from four cameras. Played back video can be displayed simultaneously from four channels, with live monitoring of four channels. The CALL monitor output provides only sequential preview of individual cameras.
P4504 can record images in MPEG-4 (SP, ASP) compression, with Full D1 resolution (each channel, 720x576 PAL or 720x480 NTSC), with frame rate of 25fps (PAL) or 30fps (NTSC) distributed among four channels (single channel: 6.25fps PAL or 7.5fps NTSC). Image resolution can be reduced to Half D1 or CIF. Audio can be recorded from all four channels.
