The emergency exit button APWK-LED is designed for use in access control (AC) and intrusion and hold-up alarm (IHA) systems. It is used for the direct, emergency release of access point locks (e.g. solenoid locks or electric strikes) in the event of a controller failure or in emergency situations. It is activated by pressing the push plate, which is protected against accidental use by a transparent protective flap. The device is reset to surveillance mode using a dedicated service key (included). The button features universal NO/NC contacts and 3 independent relay outputs with a maximum load capacity of 125 V / 3 A, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of actuators. The integrated visual and audible signalling is configured using jumpers on the PCB. A two-colour LED indicates the monitoring status (green) or alarm status (red), with the red LED capable of operating in continuous, flashing or off modes. The built-in piezoelectric transducer with adjustable sound intensity offers continuous, intermittent or silent operating modes. The device’s mechanical design allows for surface-mounted or flush-mounted installation using an installation box, in accordance with the instructions in the manual.
