OPTISteel 1U 12xSC simplex / LC duplex fibre optic distribution frame is designed for installation in 19" rack cabinets and racks. It allows 12 or 24 fibre terminations. The front panel allows the installation of 12 SC simplex or LC duplex adapters. The cabinet is made of 1 mm thick steel sheet powder-coated in black.
The fdame is opened from the top - the top cover is held by a knurled nut. Fibre optic cables can be fed into the cabinet via 4 rear holes or 2 side holes. 2 PG glands are supplied with the ODF. A plastic cap is available under item L5505 to close unused holes.
Inside the ODF, there are a number of ribs that can be used to fasten cables, tubes or pigtails together with cable ties for optimum organisation while maintaining the correct, safe bending radius.
Inside the cabinet there is a screw with a knurled nut for attaching one or two splice trays.
Note: a splice cassette must be purchased for the cabinet. Splice cassettes available to match the cabinet:
- L5510 - basic tray / cassette for 12/24 splices
- L5512 - basic tray / cassette for 12/24 splices with red baskets made of soft material. Easier fitting of thicker splice protection sleeves
- L5514 - tray / cassette SPT01 - a tray / cassette of slightly larger size, providing great convenience in fibre organisation. Possibility to arrange fibres in many ways, to separate cable fibres from pigtail fibres, etc.
