Key features
The set of DS-1H18S/E baluns allows for transmission of video signal from one source via a twisted pair cable. For easy installation, the BNC plugs are mounted on cables.
The balun matches the impedance of unbalanced 75 ohm output/input with 100 ohm impedance of balanced line (UTP/FTP cat. 5 cable), and vice versa. The pair of the baluns can transmit power (compatibility with Power over Coaxial (PoC) systems.
The installer should pay attention to connecting the appropriate wires to the correct terminals: (+) to (+) and (-) to (-). Improper connection will cause interference.
