The Hikvision DS-2AE4225TI-D M75931 camera can be used in video surveillance systems based on various types of DVRs. The user can select the required video standard from among HD-TVI, HD-CVI, AHD, or the legacy CVBS (ANALOG). The choice of the standard is made by the DIP-switch located inside the housing. The enhanced video systems allow for using the 2 MP (1080p) resolution of the camera. Thanks to very high sensitivity of the image sensor (0.005 lx) and built-in Smart IR illuminator with range up to 100 m, the camera provides high quality video coverage even in very difficult lighting conditions.

The PT mechanism of the camera has the ability to change the direction at speeds within 0.1°/s to 80°/s range. With advanced video enhancement functions: 3D-DNR, WDR (120 dB), BLC, HLC, EIS, the camera can effectively operate in dificult lighting conditions. The combined 25x optical plus 16x digital zoom allows for coverage of large areas with total magnification factor 400x! The ability of programming up to 256 presets, 10 patrols i 5 routes, helps to automate the operation of the camera. Thanks to small size (Φ164,5 x 295 mm), the camera can be easily mounted in any environments and placed e.g. on poles or lamps at crossroads.

High Definition Transport Video Interface (HD-TVI) is a revolutionary technology that allows users to send uncompressed, high-resolution video (up to 1080p) over coaxial or twisted-pair cables (using dedicated baluns). The transmitted video signal is in analog form, with bandwidth much greater than in the case of CVBS (SD). As the signal is not compressed, the picture is more natural during live viewing. There is no delay and the configuration of such a system is easier compared to IP CCTV solutions.

The camera provides the ability to control its OSD menu using the video signal cable. The control is possible via a compatible DVR, after selecting PTZ control in its menu and choosing preset 95. The opened menu of the camera provides access to all configuration options.

Mechanical IR-cut filter ensures perfect color rendition in daylight and full sensitivity with IR lighting.
